Overview
EMT16 electromagnetic thickness scanner is designed to measure thickness variations of casing. Power is supplied and signals are transmitted through mono-conductor cable.
EMT16 adopts an array of twelve probes, each containing a miniature magnetic signal sensor that obtains one magnetic change signal. All signals are transmitted to the surface system via telemetry cartridge and curve logs are recoded by acquisition software.
EMT16 must be centralized during operation and a combined use with multi-finger caliper is recommended for interpretation convenience. Dedicated interpretation software is provided for independent interpretation of EMT16 data, as well as combined interpretation of EMT16 and MCT measurements. It also outputs three dimensional imaging.
